By Order PRE/525/2005 of 7 March, which publishes the Resolution of the Council of Ministers that adopts measures to favour equality between women and men, a series of actions are established, which contribute to decreasing inequality in all areas of daily life: employment, business, reconciliation of work and family life, research, solidarity, sports, gender-based violence, etc.
For effective equality between women and men, and in order to complete the legal framework, Organic Law 3/2007, of 22 March advocates real and effective gender equality in our society.
The Ministry of Finance and the Civil Service, committed to this government action, has undertaken a series of actions aimed at promoting equality both within the scope of the entire General State Administration, which falls within the competence of the Directorate-General for the Civil Service, and within its own internal sphere, which falls within the competence of the Inspectorate General.ç
